Cover Art!

Honestly I could just sit and design book covers all day. They're cliche as hell but there's something nice about finding the sweet spot between how something ought to look, and how you want it to look. Which really means, am I designing covers I want to look at, or covers that will make people want to read my book?

In all honesty at this point it's pure narcissim. I can't draw or paint, but I can make fan art of my own stories if I want to(!) It's my happy place.

Anyway here's the new one, which will hopefully be used for the second edition of my dystopian baby, RATS.

I'm still getting a buzz at being able to write the words 'Award Winning'. See? Pure narcissism.

Other news, other news... not too much today. I'm sharing my time between organising my fanfiction folder (seriously) and writing the meat of Dreamers Lie. I've never written a full-length Sci Fi before, so it's taking a little longer than usual to map the thing out. I'm back at work this week as well (piano teaching... yay!) and have somehow volunteered to do a burlesque show this weekend. None of that is particularly interesting if you're here to read about my writing, but since I usually talk about being a boring person with interesting daydreams, it's funny when things are reversed.
